Class Descriptions Fall 2019
Using a scientific approach mixed with a lot of fun, we offer specialty baby classes for children newborn through 5 years. The classes include baby/ toddler music, gym, art, literacy and more for the youngest learners that we know you will love.

Musical Toolbox
The youngest babies will enjoy this music and movement class. Carefully designed activities encourage physical development in balance and strength through movement games and gym time. Our play gym includes ramps, tunnels and slides to entice movement for the age group.Experienced music and movement educators lead in songs, movement educators lead in songs, movement, parachute games and bubble time.
Age: 1- 3 Years
Primos and Primas
A pre-ballet dance class for little ones to experience different rhythms. This class focuses on fun and appropriate movements for building baby’s body and brain. Meaningful social/emotional connections are made as you and baby dance together and with others. Explore dance concepts using multi-sensory props and instruments. Sing nursery rhymes and move to a wide variety of music.
Age: 1.5 - 2.5 Years
Little Athletes
Children explore different ways of moving. We begin with a warm up that encourages muscle and fitness development at a very young age. These children get fit by playing games while figuring out strategies and while practicing cooperative play and team work. The class includes obstacle courses, ball play, giant blocks, fun games and lots more!

Magic of Reading
Story telling with acting, puppets, songs, music and games. An entertaining introduction to the written word.
Ages: Newborn - 5 Years
Cortex 101
This combination class develops gross and fine motor skills through creative movement, musical games, gym time and sensory/art exploration. Explore all areas of development through creative movement, special games, gym time, obstacle courses and simple sensory art in a fun, innovative environment. Exciting themes are explored every week.

Cortex 201
This combination class develops gross and fine motor skills through creative movement, musical games, gym time and art. Explore all areas of development through creative movement, gym time, obstacle course and process orientated art projects in a fun, innovative environment. Exciting theme based art projects are incorporated into every theme based class.

Sensory Art Exploration
The 5 Senses. The little ones learn with their whole bodies. Sensory activities (such as these ones focusing on the sense of touch) are a very important part of that whole body learning. Sensory play exposes children to many new experiences, textures, and materials. It is calming for many children and also presents children with lots of new language – rough, smooth, clumpy, brittle. We introduce them to a great variety of natural materials and textures, lights vs shadows, sounds effects etc.

Baby Moves 'n Grooves
Baby Moves n' Grooves is a rockin’ music class that introduces kids to sing, clap and play instruments like drums and tambourines, to mini pianos and guitars. Children and their grown-ups sing along with a live, music played by musical educators who encourage dance and movement . Kids enter a musical journey while experiencing sounds and language from a different musical genre each week.. The Baby Moves n' Grooves band create learning environment with nursery rhymes through finger plays and songs, Join Baby Moves n' grooves and our puppet friends for a musical adventure you always remember!

Physical Intelligence (Lvl. 1)
This program is focusing on the physical development of the young child. From learning the vital stage of crawling to the beginnings of the sophisticated early skills of a gymnast. Your young child will develop through movement as s/he crawls, rolls, jumps and explore specific movement instruction encouraging physical coordination in a fun atmosphere with music, songs and stimulating games.
Ages: 1 - 2 Years
Rock 'n Roll Baby

Oh Espanol!
Spanish immersion. This class is a wonderful opportunity to introduce babies to a new language while developing movement skills, learn songs, games and story telling. It is taught by a fluent Spanish speaker.

My Little Art Shop
This art class gives toddlers an age-appropriate hands-on introduction to art. It is an opportunity for the child to explore texture, colour and shapes while learning how to manipulate art tools. Your child’s very first art creations are brought to life through sculpture, painting, collage and so much more.

NYC Kickers
Our NYC Kickers classes are structured so that toddlers and caregivers can establish a healthy routine while working together in a class setting, listening to directions, and engaging in exciting movement and pre-soccer activities. Class begins with an stretching song and then gets right into a soccer warm up and full body activities. Toddlers move along to NYC Kickers games and songs then get right back into into learning more soccer skills, educational games, and finally team cheer before singing a fun goodbye song until we see you next time.

la Petite Ecole
French immersion. This class is a wonderful opportunity to introduce babies to a new language while developing movement skills, learn songs, games and story telling. It is taught by a fluent French speaker.

Gym Open Play
Gym Open Play and Obstacle Course! A time for free play for you and your little one to enjoy our gym space and equipment. Every day from 12:30pm to 2pm and Mon-Thurs 3:30pm to 5pm.
